Street Foods

Street Foods

Food is about freedom whether what flavor you want to choose or even the ambiance of the place you want to go. Upon going to explore Filipino food maybe one of the most exciting thing to do and experiencing the different varieties of it would always be a challenge! And if you want to try something new or a different type of taste just take a walk to the streets and you’ll find it there whether its fried or grilled and sweet or spicy and just name what you want and you’ll always be surprised of what the streets can offer.

Mix types of Grilled foods Addidas As (Chicken feet) Atay (liver) Balun-Baluna   (Gizzard) Betamax (coagulated blood in cubes) Bituka or isaw (Intestines) and Helmet as (Head) one of the most popular types of grilled street foods and its usually seen on beer or on the streets.

This set is composed of chicken nugget , Fish balls, Kikiam and kwek kwek  this is one of the most affordable food in the streets. For example Fish ball are only about 50 cent each and the kikiam is 1 Pesos each and for the chiken nuggets and the kwek kwek there only ranging for about 6 Php to 5 Php each. Affordable foods that will surely boost fill up your appetite.

The Ballut one of the first type of street food brought to the public, Ballut is like a trade mark of being a filipino or as what they say being  a man coz ballut is believed that it enhances the sexual capability of a man well that’s for you to try and maybe it might work. And as what vendors say to their costumers
“A BALLUT a day keeps the doctor away”. It may be silly but some  people believed on it. May be its time for you to try and  might help. And it’s really affordable for only Php 15 apiece.

The soimai is one of the tastiest street foods I’ve tried. And probably one of my favorite food when it comes to street foods.
In the street you can pick up Siomai for as little as 3 pesos each. While in Chow king expect to pay around 50 pesos for 3! Many Filipinos don’t like street Siomai claiming it’s not good meat. But I never had a problem, and it tastes really good.

And this set is different types of drinks that will surely refresh your mood after tasting them a set combined with Buko , Mellon, Gullaman, Orange and Mango Juice. This are the type of drinks that will surely match with your Street food experience.   And this types of juices are only ranging for about 5 to 10 pesos per cup.

Now this are the types of food I wanted to blog about coz it disturbs me why some trying hard people or those social climbers don’t appreciate the real taste of Philippine food and where all the type of food you see on the fancy restaurant on came from the streets and just recreated them.
